Adult Skating Sessions

Many of the community centres offer Adult public skate times for those 55+. 

As well, many of the community figure skating clubs offer sessions which are open to adult free skaters and adult ice dancers (all levels).  Please check online with local figure skating clubs.  Most have buy on sessions. 

To skate on any Figure Skating Session you must be a Skate Canada member and register for the sessions or purchase a punch card.

 

The following ice times are those which are listed for adult figure skaters.

 

METRO VANCOUVER AREA
BURNABY 8 RINKS
Tuesday/Thursday - 9:45 – 11:45 a.m. Adult Dance

Tuesday/Thursday - 1:00 - 2:15 p.m. Open Session (some adults attend this session)

Monday/Wednesday – 8:00 – 9:45 p.m. (Dance – not adult specific, but many adults are on this session)

Saturday - 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Adult Session (no specific designation)
 
COQUITLAM ICE ARENA
Monday evening from 8:45-9:45 pm in the Coquitlam Sports and Leisure Centre in the Recreation Rink

Tuesday from 11:45-12:45 am in the Coquitlam Sports and Leisure Centre in the Recreation Rink

 
GEORGE PRESTON RECREATION CENTRE
(Langley Civic Centre)
South Langley
Thursdays 9:45-11:15 Open Adult
 

KERRISDALE
Thursday 8:15 - 10:00 p.m.  Open Dance
Friday 10:15 - 11:45 p.m. Mixed, but Dance focus
Sunday 8:45 - 10:15 p.m. Open Dance
No skating through Christmas period

 
KITSILANO

Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Adult Free skate

Saturday 10:30 to 11:15 Adult Dance

(buy on for one or both sessions) 

 
NORTH VANCOUVER CAN LAN TWIN RINKS
There are open adult freeskate sessions during the day.  Check with the rink
as they change per month
 
WEST VANCOUVER RECREATION CENTRE

Tuesday and Friday 10:15 - 11:30 a.m.

 

WHITE ROCK CENTENNIAL ARENA

Tuesday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Adult Dance
