Adult Synchronized Skating Team - Skaters Wanted!

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

Do you like to skate? Do you have one night per week (Tuesday) to commit to your fitness and fun? Did you figure skate when you were younger or learn as an Adult? If you can skate forward, backward and maintain your balance while doing some basic turns then you should read on!

The Lower Mainland Synchronized Skating Club has been in existence for over 25 years. It is a skating club that focuses solely on the passion of promoting and excelling at synchronized skating. For over 25 years, LMSSC has produced countless gold medals, records, and created team after team that excelled in every aspect of the sport. LMSSC gives skaters of all ages and levels the opportunity to be a part of a hard working team dedicated to teaching sportsmanship, confidence, and dedication.

Currently, our Adult 2 team is looking for new recruits. This team is made up of skaters ranging from age 25 to 60+. We practice in Abbotsford every Tuesday evening from September through March and we compete in competitions too. Our skill levels vary and our most important mission is to skate our best and have fun doing it. There is a carpool of skaters that travel from Surrey and Langley too.

So. . .dust off your skates, have them sharpened if it has been a few years and don't waste time thinking about it. Call or email now for information that will change your life!

*****If you were a higher level or competitive skater, even in your teens, and would be interested in committing to a higher level team made up of 19+ with more of a focus on competition, but still at the Adult level, please contact coach, Danalee Harrison, and mention that you are interested in Adult I level*******

If you have any questions, please ask - or maybe YOU know someone who did this when they were younger? Pass it on. It's a great team sport and SO much fun. I did this for over 10 years (synchro skating that is) - and now have retired to the judging side of things, but I's a blast!!!
