SUMMER SKATE 2014; DAY TWO

Sat, 16 Aug 2014

BURNABY—It was like something out of a storybook and for Coquitlam skater Ronald Lam still hard to believe.

Two weeks ago as he prepared for his first major local competition of the season, the 2014 Super Series Summer Skate, one of his skate boots ripped apart down the back. The quick solution was to get him another boot but the one that came with it also had a blade that was slightly smaller than the one on his good boot. No time to work things out.

And so Lam went into Summer Skate with two different boots and two different blades. He should keep them.

SUMMER SKATE 2014: DAY ONE
