Coquitlam Skating Club
Job description:

The Coquitlam Skating Club, based in Coquitlam, BC  is looking to expand their current coaching team to include an additional minimum Provincial level coach.

The club runs 12 months of the year.  We have a large group of competitive athletes that compete at the sectional championships with strong results and athletes who compete at the national level.  This past season year our CANSKATE numbers were impacted by the pandemic but in normal years we have a full CANSKATE program membership which assists in the further development of the club.  We also have a very healthy StarSkate membership pursuing Skate Canada tests and competing domestically throughout the province.

We are looking for a committed, passionate and competitive individual with a Skate Canada full certification at Provincial level or above.  Must have valid First Aid Certification,  Police Check and be a member in good standing with Skate Canada.  Someone who can work within a unique team environment in an honest and trusting manner.  The individual should be able to work at all levels of the club structure from learn to skate through to elite as well as have both harness and dry-land training experience.

The club runs all of their programs out of the Fall/Winter and Summer at the Poirier Recreation Center.  We have 40 hours of on ice allocations per week to conduct our operations and programs.  We also have a fully integrated physical performance program that runs in conjunction with all on-ice levels and programs.

All interested applicants should send their resume to the attention of:
