The clubs are run by a wonderful group of volunteers who dedicate time to the operation of a healthy and happy club environment.  A well run club becomes like a second home for children where they have physical activity, learning opportunities and camaraderie. Clubs are supported with programs and guidance from both the National and Provincial organization.

2017/18 Club Recognition Submission

It is that time of year again when we need to start compiling the information needed for the BC/YK Section Club Recognition Award.
The timeline for the Club Recognition this year, will be April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
Congratulations to the Clubs that submitted their points for the 2016-2017 season. We hope that you all saw your results in the June 2017 issue of Thin Ice and received your Certificates in the mail.

Each year the criteria may vary depending upon what the Section feels Clubs should be focusing on. This year the largest "points" will be given to Clubs that encourage Coach & Board Member Education.

Platinum = 100 Points
Gold = 75 Points
Silver = 50 Points
Bronze = 25 Points

DEADLINE for submission: April 15, 2018
