2025 Canadian National Skating Championships

The 2025 Canadian National Skating Championships, held from January 15-19 in Laval, QC, brought together the nation’s top skaters, including 18 from Skate BC/Yukon, for an unforgettable week of competition.

From personal bests to podium finishes, the event celebrated incredible achievements and showcased the depth of talent within Canada.

• Chloe Nguyen & Brendan Giang were crowned the 2025 Junior Ice Dance Champions of Canada!

• David Li secured a bronze medal in the Senior Men’s event with an impressive total score of 197.99.

The next major event on the skating calendar is the Skate Canada Trophy, happening February 6-9, 2025, in Edmonton, AB. This competition will feature the nation’s top Pre-Novice and Novice skaters, continuing the excitement of this season.
