Yes, donations made through the BC Amateur Sport Fund will receive a tax receipt.

Yes! You can include a note in the Comments section of the online donation form to indicate where you would like your donation directed (e.g., “Synchronized Skating Programs”). You may also email bcytsection@skatinginbc.com with your instructions.

If no specific direction is provided, donations will be allocated to the Athlete Support Fund.

Donations to the Athlete Support Fund (ASF) are used to provide direct assistance to skaters. From subsidizing competition and event expenses to offering scholastic bursaries, the ASF helps athletes pursue and achieve their goals. Over the past 28 years, more than $100,000 has been awarded to athletes, supporting their educational and athletic development across BC and the Yukon.

Donations directed to the BC/YT Section help support key initiatives such as officials’ development, and skating program initiatives including Singles, Ice Dance, Pairs, and Synchronized Skating, along with other priorities as identified by the Section.

Yes! You can choose to make a monthly donation through the online donation form. Simply select the “Monthly Gift” option and indicate your donation amount. Your ongoing support helps provide consistent funding for programs and initiatives that benefit skaters across BC and the Yukon.
