2026 Athlete Support Fund Bursaries Now Open

The Athlete Support Fund is proud to continue supporting skaters in BC and Yukon as they pursue post-secondary education while achieving excellence on and off the ice.

Applications are now open for the 2026 Canadians Participant Bursary and Gold Athlete Bursary. Eligible applicants include skaters who are current or former BC/YT Team members, or those who have successfully achieved at least 3 of the 4 Gold Test Assessments.

Each year, applications are reviewed by the Athlete Support Fund Committee based on skating achievements, academic performance, community involvement, and overall application quality. Bursary amounts vary annually depending on available funding and the number of applicants received.
