Celebrating Our 2026 Bursary Recipients

We are proud to celebrate the recipients of the 2026 Canadian Participant Bursary and Gold Athlete Bursary!
This year, 15 athletes received the Canadian Participant Bursary and 9 athletes received the Gold Athlete Bursary, with a total of $25,000 awarded to athletes across BC and Yukon.
These bursaries provide financial support to help athletes pursue their skating and educational goals. Bursary amounts are determined based on a number of factors, including skating achievements, academic performance, community involvement, submission quality, available funding, and the number of applications received.
The Athlete Support Fund helps provide bursary opportunities for BC/YT skaters as they pursue post-secondary education, while also helping reduce financial barriers for athletes throughout their skating journeys.
