Happy Holidays from all of us at Skate Canada BC/YT Section!

ree

On behalf of all of us at Skate Canada BC/YT Section, we wish you a wonderful holiday season.

As we reflect on the year, we’re grateful for the countless days spent at the rink, connecting with skaters, coaches, officials, volunteers, and clubs, and for the shared love of skating that unites communities across British Columbia and Yukon.

What a year it has been! With 10 Section-hosted competitions and numerous other events, including our in-person AGM, club information sessions, and technical webinars. We were also fortunate to recently host a Nationals Training Day for our BC/YT Section Team heading to the Canadian National Skating Championships and Skate Canada Trophy in the new year. This special day gave our team a rare opportunity to be together and was a wonderful way to wrap up a year of accomplishments, personal bests, and memorable experiences for our athletes. We can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store!

None of this would be possible without the support of our broader community, including partners, volunteers, coaches, officials, parents, and, of course, the skaters themselves.

Please note that our office will be closed for the holidays starting Tuesday, December 23, and will reopen on Monday, January 5.

Thank you for being such an important part of our skating family.

See you in 2026!

Best wishes,

The Skate Canada BC/YT Section Team
