Skate Canada BC/YT Section Mourns the Passing of Connie Patterson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Patterson on April 24, 2026.

Connie made a lasting contribution to the skating community in British Columbia and Yukon through her many years of dedicated service. She served as the BC/YT Section Chair from 1992 to 1996 and was a valued member of the Cariboo North Central Region Board from 1980 to 1992.

A longtime member of Mile Zero FSC, Connie was deeply committed to the sport. She also served as a Data Specialist, officiating at competitions throughout the Section.

Connie’s dedication, leadership, and passion for skating have left a meaningful legacy that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of working with her.

Our sincere condolences are extended to Connie’s family and friends during this difficult time.
