Danielle Williams

Danielle provides leadership and strategic direction for Skate Canada BC/YT, overseeing the Section’s operations, programs, events, and organizational priorities. Working closely with the Board of Directors and Section staff, she leads the implementation of the Section’s strategic direction and supports the continued growth and development of skating throughout British Columbia and Yukon.

Danielle brings more than two decades of experience with the Section and extensive experience in sport administration, event operations, and organizational leadership. She has played a key role in the delivery of provincial, national, and international skating events and has developed strong relationships with municipalities, sport organizations, and partners across BC/Yukon and nationally.

Danielle also brings significant multi-sport leadership experience through her involvement with Team BC at six Canada Games, including serving as Assistant Chef de Mission at the 2019 Canada Winter Games and the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
