2023 BC/YT Super Series Fall Competition

Message from Debra Armstrong, Skate Canada CEO

This note is to all participants in the 2023 BC/TY Super Series Fall Competition that took place September 22-24, in Parksville, BC.    Skate Canada acknowledges that our new Competition Scoring System (CSS) experienced significant issues in the competition last weekend which we know caused disruption to the event and negatively impacted your experience.  We apologize to all involved for your diminished experience.    These issues were entirely ours and were no fault of the local organizing committee who worked tirelessly to deliver the competition.  We are grateful to the local organizing committee for their efforts during the disruption.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding.  Skate Canada is committed to the successful long-term development of the CSS, and we are working to ensure that issues like those experienced last weekend are not repeated in future competitions.
