The Inlet Skating Club of Port Moody is accepting applications for a Full time coaching position. We run our programs year round (48-49 weeks a year) and approximately 20-24 hours a week.
We train out of Port Moody Recreation Centre and also Planet Ice in Coquitlam.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for coaching. The candidate must be supportive of team coaching and be prepared to be involved in all aspects of the club activities.
Requirements:
-Must be in good standing with Skate Canada (current first aid and background check)
-Provincial or National Coach Certified
-Great communications skills
-Organized/ability to take initiative
-Punctual and dependable a must
-A passion for coaching all levels (Canskate, StarSkate, Competitive and off ice)
-Team coach
-Off ice classes including dance, flexibility, strength training or conditioning an asset
