We are sorry to announce the passing of Ron Vincent, a long time coach here in British Columbia and Hall of Fame Member of both Skate Canada and Skate Canada BC/YT Section. Ron was the co-founder of Canada Ice Dance Theatre and played a major role in the start of coach education through the Figure Skating Coaches of Canada (FSCC) and eventually Skate Canada and the NCCP. Ron was a gentleman who loved and lived the sport of figure skating and deeply cared about the coaches and their profession. Ron was also a wonderful choreographer and creative director for both professional and amateur shows and competitors as well.
Ron will be deeply missed in our skating community.
